Did you know that at every APICS Professional Devlopment Meeting (PDM) we draw one members name for a $ 100 in cash ? This combined with other giveaways and the ability to network with others in your field are all great reasons for attending our PDMs each month. In addition, every meeting we have great speakers to inform us of what is going on in a variety of industries.

This month, the Colorado APICS Chapter 81 proudly presents Tom Hegarty, Senior Vice President of manufacturing at Leprino Foods as this month's speaker. Leprino Foods, headquartered in Denver, Colorado began as a small, family-owned market selling grocery items and handmade cheese 61 years ago in Denver and is now the world’s largest manufacturer of mozzarella cheese.

Leprino Foods has 12 manufacturing plants that support global sales to over 40 countries, and the recently opened Singapore hub and joint venture with Glanbia Cheese, UK, positions them in key markets across the world.

Tom Hegarty joined Leprino Foods Company in 1987 as a Production Accounting Supervisor and over the past 23 years with the company, he has held 14 different positions in the organization - including Vice President, Procurement & Logistics and Vice President, Central Region Production. He has been in his current role as Senior Vice President, Production Operations since July 2005.
