Senior Supply Chain Planner/Analyst-162451
DESCRIPTION:
Seagate is seeking a talented a Sr. Supply Chain Analyst/Planner to join our team. This position is located in our Longmont, Colorado Design Center, and will report to the Director of Supply Chain.
The job duties for this position may include:
-
Plans and implements systems and technology related to the inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
- Develops, and works with business owners to implement and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
- Coordinates with finance and accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs.
- Develops Supply Chain strategies to achieve continuity of supply and the maintenance of inventory at acceptable levels.
- May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system.
- May work with customers to identify optimum inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to align with corporate inventory policies.
- Schedules and maintains build into the Master Production Schedule.
- Cross functional collaboration with business owners relative to Supply/Demand Planning.
- Coordinate cross functional team relative to product transitions, end of life exposures and process improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain and 5+ years related experience or a Masters degree and 3+ years related experience.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Thorough, Diligent, Detail Oriented, Organized
Able to work late as needed to meet timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
Bi-lingual
