The Plant Manager will oversee all phases of plant operations including safety, production, quality control and maintenance.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Provide leadership and direction for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility across all shifts.
  • Maintain plant safety, adhering to all regulatory guidelines, to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.
  • Drive initiatives to maximize employee contribution in both product quality and production.
  • Develop strategies to ensure the plant meets production goals and standards at minimal manufacturing costs.
  • Identify areas for line improvements and efficiencies.
  • Ensure all managers, supervisors, leads, including maintenance and production employees, are properly trained to perform their job functions in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Analyze and establish workforce requirements to meet customer demands and business objectives.
  • Calculate and report productivity and capacity, by work center, on a continuous basis.
  • Ensure the plant and equipment is maintained in a safe, neat, and orderly fashion.
  • Work closely with the Director of Supply Chain and other peers to ensure:
  • o Production schedules are provided timely, within capacity, to ensure customer orders and expectations can be produced on time.
  • o Raw materials meet production requirements in both quantity and quality.
  • o Raw materials delivered to the floor are done efficiently and timely to meet production schedules.
  • o Finished goods produced are handled and stored appropriately to fulfill customer orders and inventory stocking requirements.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

  • 3-5 years' experience in managing multiple departments within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Strong process documentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate team interactions and partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance and other peers.
  • MRP or ERP experience


In addition to possessing experience in and the ability to perform the duties outlined above, the qualified candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Management, Manufacturing Engineering or similar educational background.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for material inventories for a specified category to support finished goods production plans, minimize obsolescence and provide overall cost containment.

  • Full Responsibility for accurate Materials plans and strategies resulting in superior customer service and minimized operating costs. Assisting in development of safety stock strategies and inventory optimization modeling.
  • Key member of category team representing Material Planner function. Team includes members in FG planning & deployment planning.
  • Broad exposure to entire supply chain with direct contacts in both field and HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •          Overall responsibility for material plans for specified categories.
  • Ensure overall MRP system (both within SAP and in external processes) maintained and overall system planning is optimized. Conduct regular consistent reviews of all parameters and update based on new criteria.
  • Lead & conduct material planning meetings with suppliers, ensuring all material plans are adequate from DOS and obsolescence targets in the long and short term.
  • Develop packaging run out plans with information from project managers, supply planning team, marketing and suppliers to minimize obsolescence and meet project timelines.
  • Participate in weekly supply planning team meetings with counterparts in finished good planning, deployment, forecasting and procurement to deliver key KPIs - service, DOS, L&D, forecast accuracy, material SS, obsolescence minimization and sourcing optimization
  • Track and report key KPIs - obsolescence, supplier inventory levels, DIO, service.

Bachelor of Science/ Engineering or BBA with Supply Chain knowledge.

Approx. 3-5+ years related experience in Supply Planning in a CPG Industry

Job Summary

Maintains the Inventory Part Master to ensure contains the necessary elements to correctly execute transactions electronically through the software and physically through the Materials department. Assists the Sr. Inventory Analyst in maintaining proper stocking levels and preparing reports as required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Use advanced industry knowledge, experience, and techniques to create and maintain biennial and annual physical inventory plans for field bases. Must use own discretion and experience to make decisions regarding physical counts with little or no supervision.
  • Schedule and monitor physical inventory for field base warehouse locations.
  • Maintains Inventory Parts Master in RAMCO to accurately reflect parts information.
  • Modifies part classifications as required for procurement and repair. Must rely on experience and knowledge to research effectivity and validate alternate part number usage, and make independent decisions with limited supervision.
  • Ensures that department complies with quarterly Sarbanes Oxley Certification and ISO requirements for Inventory valuation. Reports any associated risks and assists in the implementation of controls to manage loss.
  • Works closely with Logistics and Purchasing Departments to maintain offsite field addresses and contacts in Inventory database.
  • Evaluates Inventory for: Obsolescence, Effectivity, Interchangeability, Usage, Min/Max stocking levels.
  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) implementation and initiatives. Be familiar with the SMS Policy Manual, SMS Procedures, OSHA, and HAZMAT
  • Leads and participates team process improvement processes

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner to maintain the operations product requirement plans and procure the required raw materials, bulks, and finished goods from internal Manufacturing. This position ensures approved inventory targets are met in accordance with appropriate state, federal and international regulations. The Supply Chain Planner will lead supply chain planning operations for several locations and departments within the organization, including supporting a laboratory environment. Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory level to ensure product availability to fill customer orders. Address and communicate supply risks and potential obsolescence to Supply Chain/Operations management.
  • Evaluate materials in inventory and plan appropriate batch sizes accordingly.
  • Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders for assigned products. Work with suppliers, manufacturing, logistics, and accounts payable to resolve shipment and invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach. Hold regular meetings with external and internal suppliers to discuss latest forecast, shipment schedules, supply delays, and risks.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of all planning and purchasing data for assigned products to ensure valid and accurate MRP output. Maintain the inventory level of purchased materials and revise product masters as changes in usage or supply occur.
  • Participate and/or serve as Supply Chain representative on assigned company projects. Lead and participate in process improvement programs for the department and cross-functionally as opportunities arise.
  • Provide input to the initial supply agreement for forecast frequency and delivery conditions. Track and adhere to existing supply agreements according to existing terms and conditions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ relevant experience or Master’s degree with 4+ years relevant experience; prefer degrees in business, engineering, supply chain, or science

In lieu of degree, 10+ years of relevant work experience can be considered. Experience must be in MRP II, ERP, Supply Chain Planning System software experience with Buyer/Planner, Production Planning and Master Planning roles in manufacturing or operations required.
