The Program Material Manager (PMM) will interface between various programs and the Acquisition Team. As the PMM “lead”/liaison for the program, you will act as interface between Acquisition and any internal customers. Responsibilities will include:

  • Advocate for the Acquisition ConOps with program customers

 

  • Lead a proactive stance to eliminate waste in the supply chain and to optimize procurements by bringing the program the best value on each acquisition

 

  • Understand part/supplier disconnects along the supply chain life-cycle, develop and manage acquisition return-to-green plans as necessary

 

  • Be a strategic program interface (provide input to the development of Program requirements) through coordination with MRP/MPS to develop forecasts for future requirements, engage programs early in the life cycle to influence optimal acquisition strategy, support proposal activity as necessary

 

  • Monitor Program specific supplier execution

 

  • Analyze and prioritize Program workload with Focused Acquisition Center Cell Managers/Leads

 

  • Manage resolution of issues between buyers and parts engineers

 

  • Work directly with Program materials and processes team, along with the IPT leads

Eaton’s Lighting Division is currently seeking a Planner to join our team.

This position is based at our Aurora, Co facility.

 

As a Planner, you will schedule and coordinate the flow of work within or between departments of the manufacturing plant to expedite production, reviews the master production schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises the schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, materials, machines and equipment. The position requires high attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks across a variety of projects and completion of task/projects against firm deadlines.

Maintain standard work and business processes to manage customer past dues and on-time-delivery in accordance with demand plan, customer orders and internal metrics.

Create, expedite and maintain STOs (stock transfer orders) to ensure delivery schedules are met. Advise Customer Service of any issues and inform them of any changes to original commitments.

Coordinate with the Forecasting and Purchasing Teams to validate supply-chain strategies and planning parameters, including vendor stocking programs.

Work with functional areas within the plant to remove obstacles to achieve internal goals and objectives. Communicate unforeseen deviations that effect on-time delivery to Customer Service.

Maintain accurate master data in SAP - evaluate planning parameters and supply strategies.

Ensure understanding of supplier/plant’s capacity load and communicate adjustments accordingly.

Manage product transitions and introductions with Marketing, Engineering and Supply Chain Management.

Work collectively with the Sourcing team and/or Logistics-Shipping to identify and resolve vendor and/or supply-chain issues. Perform Problem solving and cross-functional skills. Promotes and champions change.

Provide data and participate in Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning function.

Coordinate the expediting of parts with Manufacturing to ensure Customer Focus and demand is met.

Support Master Schedulers in developing, implementing and monitoring global commodity strategies to achieve performance objectives, supplier optimization (cost, quality, delivery) to gain lowest total cost and meet divisional strategic plans.

Work with customer service to clarify requirements and identify negotiate when production is constrained.

Manage cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives to achieve overall business objectives.

Dispatch production orders and assists in regulating production floor activities as needed.

  • You will focus on driving resolution of all hardware on hold or at a stop with the appropriate supporting organizations (MRP, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Design Engineering and Program)
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of work in process and be able to clearly and effectively communicate status, issues and path forward plans to multiple levels of the organization (Shop Leadership, MFG Director, MFG VP)
  • You will perform look ahead analysis to proactively manage potential upcoming conflicts and obstacles in order to minimize any impact to hardware delivery
  • Identify process improvements that will prove to reduce production cost and improve schedule performance
  • You will need to have the flexibility to support off-shift and weekend work schedules on a rotational basis

The Headlines:

In the role of Forecast and Demand Planning Analyst – Craft and Innovation you will be part of the Customer Supply Chain Organization. You collaborate and work efficiently with internal and external partners and stakeholders providing the business with analytic support to help drive decisions that are critical to the ongoing growth of the business. This role adds value creation by critically evaluating data gathered from multiple sources, conduct mathematical, statistical, and other analyses of the data as appropriate to help drive and influence decision making in the Craft & Innovation team. The Responsibilities:

 

  • Creating reports and developing business analytics in multiple systems used for decision making that maximizes benefit to the organization, while making financially sound decisions.
  • Work with suppliers and Craft & Innovation Sr. Analysts to manage vendor managed inventory, proactive order and inventory management, forecast analysis and gap resolution
  • Executes projects within targets while meeting the retail agreements.

  • You bring two or more years work experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Forecasting, Sales & Consumer Goods industries, or a Bachelors Degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Business.
  • You bring a working knowledge and understanding of interdependencies of production and capacity planning, scheduling processes, distribution methods, inventory management, network optimization, material flow, planning, forecasting, transportation, distributor operations, sales, marketing and budgets.
  • You are an expert with technical PC skills (Business Objects, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS-Outlook). Your resume will stand out if you have CICSP and SAP experience.
  • You will succeed in this role if you possess strong analytical and communication skills. Supply planning skills are preferable as well, including order fill, replenishment, and transportation service and freshness or rotation management
