The Global Logistics Analyst is responsible for development and execution of key logistics projects and initiatives that will drive improvements, savings and value creation for global supply chain. This position will lead logistics projects, harmonize processes, and implement key initiatives across the business.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Global Logistics strategy with the overall business goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance Global Logistics KPIs and trend analysis to support the organization to drive improvements in cost and performance.
  • Responsible for continuous improvements and lead incident investigation related to logistics.
  • Responsible for leveraging best practices in logistics across the regions.
  • Provide support for Global Logistics transportation and warehouse supplier RFQs (Request for Quotations) and agreements.
  • Provide support for Global Logistics Projects as required.
  • Coordinate special shipment: freight quotes, insurance, equipment, timing, non-SAP shipments.
  • Provide support on global tariff classification, customs procedures, trade compliance and free trade agreements.
  • Provide operational oversight and monitoring of logistics service providers (warehouses and carriers) on global scale.
  • Analyze sales forecast data and prepare detailed reports to carriers for capacity reservation.
  • Analyze inventory data and drive gains in efficiency.
  • Analyze customer order data and work with regional supply chain teams to improve performance and processes.
  • Support the management of the Global Logistics supplier agreements, relationships, processes, and systems.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree or, e quivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
  • SAP system expertise preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers on all aspects of the business including agreements, processes, pricing, purchase orders, returns, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
  • Six sigma certificate is a plus.
