Job Overview

The Logistics Analyst provides data analysis of the routing and delivery of P28 products to improve processes, increase efficiencies and reduce costs.


Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversees the long-term strategy for the routing and delivery of products to include:
    • Analyze freight spend and materials costs
    • Use data and expertise to recommend and implement freight spend reduction and optimization efforts
    • Seek out opportunities for process improvement, investigate solutions and partner with management and other departments as necessary to drive process improvement
    • Partner with IT and other departments to improve technology, reporting, training and communication.
  • Develop monthly/quarterly/and Ad Hoc reporting portfolio to assist management with key business decisions
  • Identify and maintain KPI’s for Distribution team and company logistics. Provide recommendations and drive change based on results to improve KPI’s in lagging areas of Distribution
  • Prepare reports as necessary to gain a deeper understanding of business successes and challenges; communicate departmental performance to management as necessary
  • Meet with Operations Management on a regular basis to share relevant business updates, or other information as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.)
  • 3+ years working in logistics or supply chain capacity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proven
  • Experience with logistics cost reduction projects and optimization
  • Experience with Sig Sigma a plus
  • Experience with International logistics and taxation a plus
  • Medical Device operations experience a plus
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • High level Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Ability to learn reporting tools such as Microsoft PowerBI
  • Appetite to grow knowledge base and learn new technologies and processes to adapt to rapidly expanding environment
  • Commitment to outstanding internal and external customer service


Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and a distribution/warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with typical business hours.  It may reasonably require additional hours during the week and weekend; specific requirements will be determined with Manager.
