The Headlines:

In the role of Manager of Manufacturing and Distribution Planning working in either Milwaukee, WI or Golden, CO you will be part of the Customer Supply Chain team.

 

You will be responsible for CSC’s ability to deliver the demand and supply plans (brewing, packaging, distribution, inventory, and supplier requirements plans), manage the processes that oversee the execution of product supply plans, coordinate course corrections, and develop and implement contingency plans across the supply chain. The long-term supply planning manager is also responsible for network capacity management, inventory management, distribution and production plan creation for the 12 – 104 week planning horizon. This position will lead the annual budget and final budget STW supply plan creation for the organization

 

This position reports to Senior Manager Supply Chain.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • You will manage 2-3 direct reports and ensure team is focused, well-trained for delivering expected business results
  • This role supports team in the creation of the monthly S&OP long-term supply plan
  • Leads capacity management team: identification of capacity constraints, utilization analysis and develops and implements contingency plans to eliminate constraints
  • Responsible for developing distribution andor manufacturing supply plans
  • Distribution plans include network sourcing and capacity modeling
  • Manufacturing plans include capacity management, inventory management, and production plans
  • Develop and manage new product plans
  • Works with OBM’s, demand planning, logistics, project managers, brand directors and supply chain leaders to develop go-to-market plans
  • Creates annual budget and final budget STW supply plans for the organization
  • Contributes to the Sales & Operations Planning process which aligns Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership on volume, revenue, and supply plans
  • Provides supply plans (distribution and manufacturing) to S&OP process
  • Supports development of supply plans (distribution andor manufacturing)
  • Management interface regularly with S&OP manager, Sr. Director – Forecasting, Demand Planning and Commercialization, Sr. Director – Customer Service and Supply, Finance and Brewery leadership. The supply plan drives the company full year and quarterly financial plan. Monthly alignment with finance on STW plans and inventory targets
  • Requires day to day influence with above Directors and their leadership teams

 

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA in supply chain management or related discipline
  • Minimum of 7 of experience in operations planning and management
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of information, evaluate and resolve complex issues in rapidly changing and very ambiguous environment
  • Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
