Position Details:

The Production Control Specialist develops material requirements plans, generates manufactured product routings, reviews job status, and evaluates progress on production work.   

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Regulate and optimize production flow in the manufacturing process from raw material to finished product.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize production machines/cells to further improve production up-time, quality, and cost.
  • Maintain inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.
  • Monitor work in progress (WIP) queues and analyze feedback from the shop floor to take corrective action as required.
  • Monitor discrepant inventory and take corrective action as required.
  • Assists in the development of Production and Inventory Control (PIC) programs policies and plans and assists in the implementation of approved systems

 

 

Education and Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Five years of production control experience in a low volume, high mix manufacturing environment.

Other:

  • Must be willing to work overtime as required
  • Travel up to 10% of working time.

 

Desired Job Qualification:

  • ISO/AS quality system experience desired.

 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to work in the U.S without sponsorship. Ability to obtain US government security clearance is required.

Position Details: The Buyer reviews, coordinates and processes all purchase requisitions for raw materials, goods, and services, negotiates price/delivery, and issues purchase orders (PO).  The ability to identify and work within budgetary and scheduling requirements is critical to success.  The Buyer is responsible for high value repeat product lines.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand outside machining requirements and ability to appropriately facilitate communication between production control, engineering and the supplier.
  • Process organization’s purchase requisitions, develop procurement solicitations, negotiate price and delivery, and issue purchase orders.
  • Prepare all aspects of procurement solicitations, including terms and conditions, customer contract flow down requirements, scope of work, and other requirements to facilitate acquisition of raw materials, goods, and services
  • Administer return authorizations for discrepant materials, goods and services.
  • Maintain and manage preferred/qualified vendor system, collect/analyze on time delivery and incoming inspection data, and recommend subsequent action.
  • Responsible for process improvement and compliance.

 

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum five years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Other:

  • Must be willing to work overtime as required
  • Travel up to 10% of working time.

Danone North America is looking for a Manager, Customer Collaboration - Natural/E-Commerce/Impulse/Frozen in Broomfield.

The Manager, Customer Collaboration will be a contributor to profitable business growth by maximizing product availability and optimizing cost-to-serve through collaboration with customers in the Natural/E-Commerce/Impulse/Frozen Channels and our internal partners.

 

This position will cultivate and leverage internal and external relationships with the objective of optimizing supply chain processes which result in tangible improvements that differentiate Danone North America with our customers and shoppers. The role will have accountability for understanding the specific needs of the assigned channels and leading solution development with customers that will drive volume, reduce waste/cost, and create sustainable competitive advantage.

 

This position will be the central owner of supply chain collaboration with assigned customers as well as with internal partners including sales, distribution, transportation, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain planning. Key deliverables will be focused on driving growth and reducing cost to serve.

 


Responsibilities:

Lead the investigation and understanding of forecast-to-shelf supply chain processes with identified customers and diagnose opportunities for improvement and value creation.

Connect and build relationships with customers, understand their business models, and influence key decision makers to initiate collaboration with Danone North America.

Provide internal partners including Supply Chain and Sales leadership with insights and perspective on each customer’s operating model.

Utilize customer data to prepare and present recommendations that drive key sales initiatives (such as new item management, promotion execution, space and assortment optimization, etc.)

Design and deliver product flow solutions and process improvements which balance Danone North America’s investment/cost with increased sales and waste reduction.

Evaluate customer specific requests for supply chain services and align the value proposition with internal partners.

Partner with order management and analytics teams to build a robust and complete understanding of each customer’s operation.

Own the supply chain collaboration process by cultivating the match between each customer’s operating strategy and Danone North America’s internal capabilities.

Deliver targeted KPIs with assigned customers as determined by supply chain priorities.

 

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required with minimum of 8 years of related work experience

Ability to travel 20-25% of time

Complete understanding of Supply Chain and retail/distributor channels knowledge

Demonstrated ability to lead within cross-functional teams

Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills

Strong communication skills and salesmanship

Ability to maneuver strategically through the organization to get the job done

Self motivated and results oriented.

Technical proficiency desired in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, MicroStrategy


Non-Essential:

Refrigerated and / or perishable supply chain experience

Familiarity with supply chain best practices in other industries

Knowledge of customer behavior & related inefficiencies

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Customer Logistics Specialist is accountable for managing the order to delivery process for large customer accounts specifically, the Tier 1 or Top 30 customer accounts. They are the face of Danone North America to our customers. The Customer Logistics Specialist will proactively lead the resolution of all issues related to customer orders. They collaborate with the Customer and Field Sales to meet service objectives and deliver growth. They are responsible for driving productivity initiatives and delivering cost and service improvements in partnership with Supply Chain and Field Sales. Minimal travel required.

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

 

Customer Order & Logistics Management

Manages strategic Tier 1 customer accounts, from order receipt to delivery including order fill, transportation planning, on time delivery monitoring, exception management and supporting promotions, seasonal and new item launch management.

Customer relationship management – effectively deliver communications on service interruptions and product availability

Acts as first point of contact to investigate problems and facilitate issue resolution in order to maximize timely and efficient sales order and invoice processing.

Monitors service performance and drives service improvement by analyzing root cause, recommending and implementing improvements to advance service performance.

Investigate order/invoice processing problems and facilitates issue resolution

 

Productivity & Process Improvement

Identifies opportunities to innovate, improve service and/or reduce cost. Analyzes opportunities, develops recommendations and implements process improvements that deliver results.

Drives cross functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Customer and Field Sales to achieve supply chain efficiencies.

Develops and maintains process and procedure documentation.

Develops and maintains training content; plans and provides training to new hires.

Manage customer scorecards and provide service level reporting to internal and external partners; responsible for maintaining service performance including root cause analysis and managing service to targets

Maintains master data supporting the customer order to deliver processes

Monitors and manages EDI transaction processing supporting customer order to delivery processes.

 

Education and Experience:

SAP experience preferred

Bachelor’s Degree required (3-5 years relevant experience and/or 1-3 years internal experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

At least 3 years of progressive Customer Service, Logistics or Supply Chain experience required

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to work well in a self-managed team environment. This includes cooperatively scheduling work, vacation, hours, and team task assignments.

Demonstrated experience in Order Fulfillment & Management, Transportation, Pricing Structure and the Credit and Returns process required

Demonstrated experience or relevant knowledge in the following areas: SAP, MEI, BW, Forecasting, Planning, Inventory Management preferred

Ability to apply a logical, creative and comprehensive approach to problem solving

Capacity to comfortably interact with all levels of the business and customers to deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Judgment to resolve issues with the appropriate sense of urgency including after standard business hours support

Ability to maintain productivity and professionalism while under pressure to meet strict deadlines and balance multiple priorities; Displays attention to detail for both accuracy and content

Supply Chain Management Specialist I

What you’ll do:

Create, maintain, and distribute department reports.

Assist in development/optimization of Integrated Supply Chain.

Assist Supply Management (SM) compliance officer in compliance reviews and audits.

Support cross-functional team in Supply Management efforts.

Provide new business proposal support for material proposal operations IAW company policy / compliance requirements.

Efficiently use, champion, and provide continuous improvement feedback for the Material Proposal Pricing (MPP) tool.

Provide input, analysis, and support for annual additional quantities

Monitor proposal process efficiency to support organization feedback and performance metrics.

Provide assistance to SCM outside of core role as needed in order to meet key milestone dates.

Develop metrics that will monitor proposal vs. actuals for current programs.

Facilitate/lead proposal and/or program small business activities.

Recommend and initiate strategies to program, project, and proposal teams.

What you’ll need:

BS/BA in a related field plus 2 or more years related experience.

Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

 

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, clean room, or production floor.

Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
