The Headlines:

In the role of a Logistics Analyst- Load Control working in Golden, CO you will be part of the Customer Supply Chain team. You will align and collaborate with our Customer Service Team, Breweries, Distribution Centers, transportation providers and distributors to deliver superior service in executing daily/weekly/monthly shipment volume.

 

This position reports to the Sr Logistics Analyst and works closely with our Logistics Team and Regional Transportation Mangers.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • You will align yourself with Customer Service, Breweries, DC’s, transportation providers & distributors to deliver superior service in executing daily/weekly/monthly shipment volume
  • Providing superior service is what you do by assisting in the development and management of domestic and international carrier networks to deliver superior service to 1800 distributors in the US, 60 international customers, 8 big domestic breweries, 5 craft / micro-breweries, 9 import supply breweries, 9 distribution centers
  • As a key problem solver within the logistics organization you assist in ensuring our compliance standards and rate management strategy is implemented
  • Your insight and preparation of ad-hoc analysis on potential rate or rule changes initiated by carriers is needed by the Logistics management team
  • Due to a 24/7 hour operation, you assist in supporting our breweries, DC’s and carrier partners some nights and weekends
  • You will champion best practices to ensure efficiencies are realized in the supply chain
  • You will maintain the transactional aspect of freight in an integrated Transportation Management System (SAP TM) and Warehouse Management System (SAP EWM), as well as building and sustaining business partner relationships with third-party freight vendors
  • You will assist in contacting carriers on data issues/problems and timeliness of posting shipment events
  • You will address expedited shipment requests to ensure timely and most cost effective delivery of time critical shipments
  • You will ensure lowest cost transportation by analyzing MillerCoors and our customer needs, optimizing mode/carrier selection to provide most effective cost and service

The Other Qualifications:

  • Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
  • You are a skilled negotiator focused on the client; your constant curiosity fosters your innovative style and you can equally execute ideas given to you
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, or other relevant field
  • You have at least 2 - 5 years of transportation/logistics, warehousing supply chain preferably in the beverage and/or consumer products industry.
  • SAP experience is a plus

The Headlines:

In the role of Manager of Manufacturing and Distribution Planning working in either Milwaukee, WI or Golden, CO you will be part of the Customer Supply Chain team.

 

You will be responsible for CSC’s ability to deliver the demand and supply plans (brewing, packaging, distribution, inventory, and supplier requirements plans), manage the processes that oversee the execution of product supply plans, coordinate course corrections, and develop and implement contingency plans across the supply chain. The long-term supply planning manager is also responsible for network capacity management, inventory management, distribution and production plan creation for the 12 – 104 week planning horizon. This position will lead the annual budget and final budget STW supply plan creation for the organization

 

This position reports to Senior Manager Supply Chain.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • You will manage 2-3 direct reports and ensure team is focused, well-trained for delivering expected business results
  • This role supports team in the creation of the monthly S&OP long-term supply plan
  • Leads capacity management team: identification of capacity constraints, utilization analysis and develops and implements contingency plans to eliminate constraints
  • Responsible for developing distribution andor manufacturing supply plans
  • Distribution plans include network sourcing and capacity modeling
  • Manufacturing plans include capacity management, inventory management, and production plans
  • Develop and manage new product plans
  • Works with OBM’s, demand planning, logistics, project managers, brand directors and supply chain leaders to develop go-to-market plans
  • Creates annual budget and final budget STW supply plans for the organization
  • Contributes to the Sales & Operations Planning process which aligns Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership on volume, revenue, and supply plans
  • Provides supply plans (distribution and manufacturing) to S&OP process
  • Supports development of supply plans (distribution andor manufacturing)
  • Management interface regularly with S&OP manager, Sr. Director – Forecasting, Demand Planning and Commercialization, Sr. Director – Customer Service and Supply, Finance and Brewery leadership. The supply plan drives the company full year and quarterly financial plan. Monthly alignment with finance on STW plans and inventory targets
  • Requires day to day influence with above Directors and their leadership teams

 

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA in supply chain management or related discipline
  • Minimum of 7 of experience in operations planning and management
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of information, evaluate and resolve complex issues in rapidly changing and very ambiguous environment

The training logistics assistant perform a variety of training logistic activities and task for the successful deployment of training classes in support of leadership and professional development. Job Duties:

 

Primary Purpose of Position:

Develop production plans and inventory strategies for beverage packaging products across a manufacturing network that encompasses North and Central America.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for development of master production schedules for multiple plants across the Beverage Packaging North and Central America network. The master production schedules will ensure maximum manufacturing efficiencies as well as optimal inventory levels while enabling delivery to customer requirements.
  • Directs distribution of inventory throughout the network to ensure inventory is available to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Works with management and inventory planners to develop safety stock and inventory strategies for assigned products.
  • Works with management to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. Develops and implements continuous improvement practices and LEAN management methodologies across our production planning and scheduling processes.
  • Coordinate across the supply network in lead-time-reduction activities to achieve the projected planned schedule requirements, and support industry best-in-class production lead time.
  • Identify deviations from established plans, and develop recovery plans.
  • Monitor S&OP plans to ensure alignment with the master production schedule.
  • Communicate master production schedules with manufacturing & plant management.
  • Measure, analyzes and reports key process metrics. Monitors adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop, monitor and communicate reports on inventory and process execution to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement.
  • Maintains business data to support production planning, inventory reporting and manufacturing systems.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience
  • Job related experience for 5 years minimum
