Supply Chain Manager

General Purpose

Directly responsible for supply chain personnel. Work involves the responsibility of ordering parts, replenishing site inventory and issuing of tooling, ensuring that all necessary information is in place to aid in maintenance. Responsible for tracking of parts, receiving them in a timely manner, and providing assistance to help minimize aircraft down time. Execute on company strategic goals in delivering a high standard of service for our clients in accordance with Minimum Standard of Performance as assigned.  

Experience

  • 5 -7 years’ experience in Aviation Supply Chain Management/Distribution origination.

  • FAA Part 145 experience.

  • 5+ Years in providing leadership to an inventory/distribution team.

  • Corridor experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Inventory Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. Experience with implementing warehouse management systems.

  • Experience in planning, forecasting. Success in making appropriate risk/reward tradeoffs making astute business decisions with limited or incomplete information.

  • Experience in managing through third-party providers.

  • Responsible for ensuring all OSHA/DOT/EPA regulations are adhered to during the normal course of business.

  • Accountable for the preparation, submittal and administration of all relevant export licenses (International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA), Manufacturing License Agreements (MLA), import certificates and miscellaneous correspondence related to our services freight for submittal to the Department of State and Department of Commerce.
